<DIV class=details>Job Description:<BR>We are seeking a senior Development Geologist with 5-10 working experience to contribute to field development planning and reservoir management. The individual should be proficient at:<BR>1. Planning and evaluation of appraisal and development wells <BR>2. Determining development well locations <BR>3. Explaining the performance of existing wells by understanding the reservoir quality and lateral continuity of producing horizons<BR>4. Determining the volume of hydrocarbons-in-place and the uncertainties associated with this value<BR>5. Determining reservoir structure, faulting, and variations in properties in inter-well areas<BR>6. Applying appropriate stochastic techniques for distributing petrophysical parameters including facies types, porosity, and permeability<BR>7. Working with reservoir, drilling engineer, geophysicist, and petro physicist to improve reservoir performance<BR>8. Applying commercial software for field development plan, such as Petrel, Discovery, OpenWorks, IESX, Petrosys, GeoGraphix</DIV>

<P>任职资格的具体描述：</P>
<P>The successful candidates should have the following experience or academic background:<BR>1. University degree or equivalent education in geologist/experience in major or independent oil & gas co. or major oilfield service co.: <BR>a. BS-10+ years working experience <BR>b. MSc-8+years working experience<BR>2. Good at spoken and written English, strong communication skill and overseas working experience is highly preferred<BR>3. Good at development of the geological framework and reservoir models leading to reservoir simulation and field development planning<BR>4. Strong technical background in an operator environment and experience in development/production geology, including static reservoir modeling, reservoir characterization, well planning and execution skills<BR>5. Extensive experience in reservoir characterization utilizing sequence stratigraphy, structural framework analysis and production data integration<BR>6. Demonstrated ability in commercial software, such as Petrel, Discovery, OpenWorks, IESX, Petrosys <BR>7. Practical experience in Uncertainty Analysis, Geostatistics and Value of information assessment<BR>8. Theoretical understanding of uncertainty and risk management<BR>9. Understand the likely geometry, lateral continuity and reservoir quality of sandbodies in the reservoir<BR>10. Understanding the techniques and workflows used to build models, and how the results are used by reservoir engineers </P></DIV></DIV>
