KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/主要职责 ( include EHSS responsibilities)
Strategically Objective:
1) Make sure the direction and the operation of technical team follow the company and team target and strategy
2) Focus on the management and leadership of the whole technical team
3) Communication with external partners, authorities as well as associations
4) Communication with China management as well as global HQ, other team(sales, marketing…) in the company
5) Build up the technical team and address the team training and people development
Responsibilities:
1) As part of the Leadership team, participate the strategy development and setting
2) Lead the technical team to implement the BT strategy within the technical team based on customer segmentation and technical strategy:
I) According to the strategy , to set up the targets for technical team;
II) Allocate these responsibilities in the technical team
III) Lead , delegate , monitor team members to achieve the target
3) Team Construction:
I) To re-enforce the operation and management system in technical team
II) To set up and conduct the people training and development plan
4) Develop strategic customers and applications with existing product portfolio
5) Identify the market technical needs and cooperate with the R&D and marketing teams to develop the new products for the local market
6) Identify business opportunities with existing customers and distributions but also identify gaps in product portfolio (competition) and cooperate with Technology Management, Marketing and Sales teams
7) Develop the application expertise among team members
8) Develop existing and new applications, adhesive, coatings, composite and others
9) Provide technical support to direct sales customers and distributors
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION/必备条件(education, language, expertise, functional competencies)
1) Senior experience within coatings or adhesive industries , with university or above education in polymer science , chemistry or related field
2) Excellent inter-person and communication skill with difference ranking and parties
3) Experienced and strong capabilities in team management in multinational company
4) Strategic and logic thinking. Be experienced in strategy setting and implementation
5) Be initiative and self-motivated
6) Good sense of team spirit as well as high organization commitment
7) Willing to learn and change
8) Willing to travel in Great China
9) Fluent in English
