POSITION DESCRIPTION
Title: Merchandising
General Summary:
The position is responsible to support Marketing Manager of China to develop merchandising plan. The individual will be tasked with regular merchandising reports that are incremental to merchandising planning and strategy for China. Success in this position requires a tremendous amount of effort in preparing new product launch and core product data analysis, strong know-how on managing stock inventory for core products and new product arrival status with Supply Chain team to ensure effective allocation of products to store to maximize sales opportunities and minimizing risk.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Develop merchandising reports to build future product strategy
· Develop all regular and seasonal merchandising reports
· Evaluate effectiveness of promotions & tests
· Ad-hoc reporting to understand specific issues on products
· Co-ordinate Pac Rim merchandising team regarding sales analysis to support product team and local retail operation team
2. Support new product launch and business driving tests analysis
· Communicate with the operation team on new product launch allocation plan
· Conduct analysis report to monitor performance of promotion & pricing strategies
· Provide data for new fixture effectiveness
3. Coordinate for inventory management
· Manage and develop product master
· Create product code with new pricing plan and range
· Coordinate with Supply Chain to monitor stock on hand and stock replenishment for core products
· Propose forecasting plan for core product to Marketing Manager
